Dental Digital X-Rays
You
can now get necessary care without unnecessary radiation. Many
people are concerned about exposure to x-ray radiation. This new
digital technology eliminates any worries of over exposure because
it requires 70% less radiation than conventional film x-ray. With
this we can reveal things films could not. We are able to spend more
time treating and less time processing x-rays. The images are
instantaneously put onto the computer screen for viewing, so the
dental staff spends less time in the darkroom and more time
discussing your health. The good news concerning the environment is
that there are no films or chemicals, so we don't have to worry
about disposing of hazardous processing waste. In addition your
digital x-rays are covered under your basic x-ray benefits, so there
is no reduction in your insurance benefits.
Dental Lasers
SOFT TISSUE
Now, high-tech soft tissue lasers are changing the way we practice
dentistry. The Diolase ST laser can actually transform swollen gums,
uneven gum lines and gummy smiles into a state of optimal health and
beauty. Tissue harmony is attained quickly and painlessly with the
dental laser. It can make all the difference between a good smile
and an incredible smile. It is truly an amazing new and safe
technology and has application into nearly every cosmetic and
surgical procedure we do.

HARD TISSUE
We are now using a new technology that can detect small defects or
holes in teeth before they become larger cavities. The technology is
called Diagnodent which is a laser that can find hard-to-spot areas
of tooth decay. A beam is aimed onto the tooth and this provides a
decay reading that we use to determine if you have a cavity. This is
an exciting new technique that is used in addition to x-rays and
examination.
